The Mandate.
The Lord revealed to us in Nehemiah 11 and Revelation 21:1-5 about re-populating "Jerusalem" with God's people.
This is founded on the 12 precious stones in Revelation 21:19-20, and equipping God's people through the Word of God, prayers, worship sessions and Word declarations for the New Jerusalem in Revelation 21:2.
The Lord has called us to Himself to be set-apart from the world as we know Him (John 15:16), and to tell everyone of what we have seen, heard, handled and encountered in our relationship with Him (1 John 1-3).
The Lord has called us to WITNESS His love to the world. He send us to specific places—cities, villages, towns, nations—to preach and harvest souls for His Kingdom. We will WITNESS His healing power, His power to save, deliver, and uplift. Our mission includes keeping the harvest in the fold, guiding them through the transformative power of the Holy Spirit, and helping them become more like Jesus Christ in every aspect.
Throughout all of Scriptures, we see God's people called to be His WITNESS in order to declare this True and Faithful God that we have known and have experienced.
Our declarations are not only in Word but in deed. As God's children, we are set-apart, redeemed, sanctified, and live in light of this because we have a relationship with the Father.
We can see here that it is God who does the calling by drawing His people to Himself: His children then go on to declare this Great God they have come to know and trust. It is God who causes those who are told the good news (the Gospel of Jesus Christ) to believe, not the person who is the WITNESS. The role of the Witness is simply to share all that he (or she) has seen, heard and Experienced: God does the changing of hearts.
